This is NOT your typical self-defense course. This is a highly-interactive, full-day experience taught in a physically- and emotionally-safe environment. The workshop will be a combination of physical practice, partner drills and lively discussion. Oh yeah – we’re going to have (serious) fun!

What you will learn:

  • Understanding the most dangerous things teens do
  • A simple mental framework to evaluate if a situation could be dangerous
  • How to employ simple every-day self-defense strategies and be more street smart
  • Simple karate techniques that you can use under pressure

This makes for a great experience for parents and daughters, but teens can attend solo also. This special workshop is taught by senior instructor Neville Loberg, who brings more than 40 years’ experience to the classroom. Material covered in class is age-appropriate, however participants must be age 12+ to participate.

Doors open at 10:30am – workshop starts promptly at 11:00am. Kindly arrive early to sign in and pay at the door if needed.
