This is NOT your typical self-defense course. This is a highly-interactive, full-day experience taught in a physically- and emotionally-safe environment. The workshop will be a combination of physical practice, partner drills and lively discussion with like-minded professionals. Oh yeah – we’re going to have (serious) fun!

What you will learn:
- How to stay safe at an Open House or when on-property
- A simple mental framework to evaluate if a situation could be dangerous
- How to employ simple every-day self-defense strategies and be more street smart
- Simple karate techniques that you can use under pressure
- Practical weapons defense
This special workshop is taught by senior instructor Neville Loberg, who brings more than 40 years’ experience to the classroom. Serving the Santa Cruz region for over 10 years.

Doors open at 9:30am – workshop starts promptly at 10:00am. Kindly arrive early to sign in and pay at the door if needed. Cold drinking water provided – wear loose sports clothing / gym shoes – no other special equipment needed. We’ll take a hour break for lunch – visit nearby restaurants.
